NovelCue Privacy Policy
NovelCue builds a wiki for the book you are reading. It does this on your device. This policy says what stays on your device, what leaves it, and how to reach us.
Your books and your wiki stay on your device
- The books you import, their text, and the wiki pages NovelCue builds from them are stored only on your device.
- The analysis runs on your device with Apple's on-device model. NovelCue does not upload your books or any part of their text to us or to anyone else.
- NovelCue has no accounts and no sign-in. We do not know who you are.
What is synced through your own iCloud
If you use iCloud, a few preferences are kept in your own iCloud account so your devices agree: the app language, theme and appearance, reading text size, and your place in the built-in Handbook. This is held by Apple under your Apple Account. We cannot see it.
NovelCue sends us nothing
NovelCue contains no analytics, no advertising code and no third-party tracking. It does not send usage data, identifiers or crash reports to us or to anyone acting for us.
- If you have chosen in your device's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may show us aggregated figures for the app, such as how many times it was opened and anonymous crash reports. That sharing is run by Apple and controlled in your device's Privacy settings, not by NovelCue.
- If you write to us by email, we receive what you choose to write and nothing else. Please do not send your books.
Purchases
The Pro unlock is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never receive your payment details.
What we do not do
No advertising, no tracking across apps or websites, and no sale of data.
Keeping and deleting
- Removing a book in NovelCue deletes that book, its text and its wiki from your device. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored on the device.
- Synced preferences can be removed from your iCloud storage settings.
- An email you send us is kept only as long as needed to answer it.
Children
NovelCue is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

NovelCue 不向我们发送任何数据

我们不做的事

保留与删除
- 在 NovelCue 中移除一本书，会从设备上删除该书、其文本和百科。删除应用会删除它保存在设备上的全部内容。
- 同步的偏好设置可以在 iCloud 储存空间设置中移除。
- 你发给我们的邮件，仅在答复所需的时间内保留。
儿童
NovelCue 并非面向儿童，也不会有意收集任何人的个人信息。
